MY ROUGH SCALED GREEN GRASS SNAKES
(OPHEODRYS AESTIVUS)
Green Grass Snakes Green Grass Snake

My green grass snakes were hatched on Aug 2, 1993 in captivity out of wild parents.
One of them had a lump on its spine and died at a fairly young age.
The remaining 4 snakes (1 male and 3 females) lived a long, healthy life.
The male passed in May, 2007 at almost 14 years of age.
Then I lost one of the females and another one a couple of months later
(because of a mouth tumor).
The last sister is still alive and going strong in March, 2010 at 16.5 years of age!
